Reflection
This was enlightening and entertaining, I will most certainly use it in my own art classroom! My Bitmoji 'classroom' was designed with the intention of getting students excited about using new art materials. Everything seen here on the desk is clickable, and visitors can freely navigate the digital space while learning about a range of media. The idea is to introduce students to the materials we will be working with throughout the semester in a nonconventional way. In the videos I chose, I mostly feature young artists in order to draw a connection to my students and show them that they can master the techniques too. In addition to these 'how-to" videos, I also included links to 4 of the most well-known artists (Picasso, Van Gough, Dali and Pollock). This webpage is meant for beginner-level art students who are just starting to get familiar with the content of the class. I had fun making it, so I hope my future students will have fun exploring!
